This listing is for a beautiful set of 2 collectible wine glasses. I purchased these from the artist, Jennifer Hopfinger at her online from Hopfinger Studio Boutique. These are from her 2005 collection. They are hand painted and are simply gorgeous. They are fully functional stemware. I just chose to use them as art. I purchased these for $32.00 a piece. They have never been used except for display. They are done in silver, golds, grays, and blacks. Each glass is signed on the bottom by the artist. They measure 9\" tall.- \"My artwork is a product of my endless fascination with color, textures, shapes, and patterns, and my experiments with their endless combinations.My hand painted glassware is produced in a manner which makes it truly functional. It is intended to be used and enjoyed every day.The glassware is painted with layers of non-toxic acrylic enamel. I sketch each design on paper, and design the color palette. My paint colors are all hand-mixed. I paint in series of 12 -18 pieces in a particular pattern and color scheme. Each glass piece in the series coordinates with, and complements the others in the series, yet no two pieces are identical. Each piece is signed and dated.Oncepainted, the glassmust dryfor a time period,and then is fired. This process ensures that each finished piece is truly functional tableware, intended to be used and enjoyed regularly and repeatedly.
