Fr. NC-159b. A scarce 1776 Revolutionary War period historic popular odd denomination having the important “Liberty Cap over Altar” vignette design. This Colonial note issued in 1776 for Two Dollars & an Half “By Authority of Congress at Halifax the 2nd Day of April 1776.” The note is in nice solid condition having been finely silked for preservation.
