We understandthe price is expensive, but any collector will realize the informationcontained within could easily pay for the book with one purchase. Just havingthis book along with your collection will raise the value of your 1911collection as any purveyor will be sure you are not an amateur, but rather aperson who takes his collection seriously. We’ve been in the business ofselling firearm reference for over 30 years, and without a doubt, this has beenthe book which all 1911 collectors have asked us for the most. Personally, I’dlike to keep this copy for myself, but the monetary value of this book is such,that only serious collectors of 1911 service pistols can justify it, and (thoughthe 1911 is my all time favorite handgun) I’m just not that serious aboutcollecting, I see myself more as a shooting enthusiast.
