Beautiful, complete set of c1890\'s mottled Victorian fireplace mantle/hearth tile. This set of tiles makes a complete fireplace surround, it can be set up in several ways. In the pictured setup, without grout, it is approx. 39.50” tall x 42.25” wide, with approx. 30.50” tall X 30\" wide opening. It can be set up to fit other sizes too. The tile has lots of crazing and the glossy glaze colors are mottled coffee and cream with hints of sky. The tile is marked Cambridge on back, manufactured by the Cambridge Tile Company. The large full tiles are approx. 6\" long with half tiles approx. 3\" long. They are all approx. 1.5\" tall. Only 5 split during deconstruction. As these 120+ year old tiles are reclaimed & vintage, they will have the expected, mortar bits / chips / pits/ flea bites / paint / soot, etc...
