Up for sale is a completed, handcraftedneedelpoint picture. It is a lovely scene life under the sea. The colors are just so vivid. The needlepoint is stretched and mounted on to plywood backing. This particular model was done in Portugal. It is from the JCA Needle Treasures Collection.

The size is 18 x 10 and it is ready for a mat and frame.

It is just charming!

Have not found this particular kit anywhere on the internet and since the company is no longer manufacturing these kits, finding it in the future is rather slim.

The picture was a hand crafted model to a kit which would have been on display in a store to show the prospective buyers how the item will look when finished. It was covered in plastic when displayed to protect the picture.

This is a rare needlepoint design as I have not seen any available on the internet.

I learned recently that the name on many of these finished pieces identified the company as JCA Inc. with an address in Massachusettes. They evidently ceased operations and will not be making/distributing anymore needlecraft kits. These finished piece from kits are already hard to find and will only be offered occasionally perhaps on the internet. Per the JCA website:
