The size is 11 x 17. The fabric is stretched an mounted onto plywood backing with sizing paper.
It is ready for a mat and frame of your choice. This particular model was done in Portugal.

This picture was a model crafted by hand to an embroidery kit which would have been on display in a store to show the prospective buyers how the item will look when finished. I was able to acquire quite a few of them; some were just matted and others framed.
Ilearned recently that the name on many of these finished pieces identified thecompany as JCA Inc. with an address in Massachusettes. They evidently ceasedoperations and will not be making/distributing anymore needlecraft kits. Thesefinished piece from kits are already hard to find and will only be offeredoccasionally perhaps on the internet. Per the JCA website:
