Up for sale is a charming needlepoint showing a girlbear. She is very shyand all dressed for the occasion. Lovely detail as she has on a pink hat, dress and purse. The shirt and purse are even embellished with a pearl.Just charming!The size is 5 x 7. The fabric is stretched and stapled at the back of the plywood. I have seen these store samples stapled onto a larger piece of plywood - 8 x 10 and then a mat is placed around the outside. Thenthe finished picture would be 8 x 10 rather than 5 x 7.Thisfrom the JCA Needle Treasures Collection.this was designed by Michael A. LeClair. The design is done on a faric grid background. Only the bear is done in embroidery. The background is not done but is left natural mesh.Have not foundthis particular kit anywhere on the internet and since the company is no longer manufacturing these kits, finding it in the future is pretty slim.
