Howard and first published in Weird Tales magazinein three parts over the September, October and November 1934 issues.It concerns Conan kidnapping a regalprincess of Vendhya and foiling a nefarious plot of world domination by theBlack Seers of Yimsha.The story is considered anundisputed classic of Conan lore and is often cited by Howard scholars as oneof his best tales.

Story/Spoilers:

Next in issue # 2,... Conan is on the runwith his captive, Queen Yasmina-but his desperate offer to seek refuge in theHimelian Mountains leads him into an ambush! Meanwhile, murderous magic isafoot as the wicked sorcerer Khemsa plots against the unsuspecting Cimmerian!

Next in issue # 3,... Desperate soldiers, ruthless mercenaries, vengeance-crazedtribesmen, and evil sorcerers-they\'re all out for Conan\'s blood! After theBlack Seers of Yimsha seize Queen Yasmina and withdraw to their mountainfortress, will the Cimmerian be able to reclaim the woman that he himself hastaken hostage?

Finally in issue # 4,... To rescue the captive Devi Yasmina, Conan will have to overcomethe malicious magicks of the Black Seers of Yimsha. But even if he can defeatthe foul sorcerers in their own mountain fortress, he must still contend withtheir even more formidable master!
