Selling a Conklin brand gold rolled fountain pen and pencil set made in Toledo, Ohio almost 100 years ago. Pen and pencil feature ring tops and geometric art deco design. Fountain pen has screw on top and is approximately 3.75\" in length with top over nib, and about 5\" in length when top is placed on end of pen. Nib appears to be angled down and is stamped \"Conklin 2 Toledo Ohio\". Pencil is imprinted \"Conklin Made in U.S.A. Pat. 7-6-20 Rolled Gold\".These lovely old pieces are in used condition, with surface wear and scratches commensurate with age. Fountain pen has a small dent below the clip. Fountain pen ink is dried, but pencil has lead. They are being sold as-is. Fountain pen and pencil both have nice weight for their size. The world has changed a great deal since these were first sold 97 years ago, but many people still appreciate the craftsmanship and design of these iconic vintage writing instruments.
