Being offered is a lovely 800 silver purse fashioned in a classical style that suggests a late-19thC Hanauor other German origin. The open-work hinged silver purse top, which fastens with a pushdown button and bears a large silver ring for attaching to a belt or chain, is decorated with a stylized rococo landscape that features two lovers (and their dog) sitting in a leafy bower, supported on either side by fauns or satyrs. The purse bag bears a floral tapestry design and is lined with a striped black and gray fabric.
