Since its origins in the early 20th century, Converse \"Chuck Taylor\" All Star had always been Made in the USA, until January, 2001 when Converse Company declared bankruptcy & halted all manufacture in North America. The design has seen alot of alterations since then & faithful wearers have noticed!

Well perhaps there is one small benefit, if you had the foresight to stock up on \"Made in USA\" Chuck Taylors. They are bound to go up in value as collectors\' items.

These shoes are dead stock and not same as the current version that Converse makes today. The only thing similar is the stylin! The material, soles, and rubber are of much better quality than those produced nowadays.

These are brand new. They were made in the USA and have the original box and laces.
