CONWAY STEWART 476 \'THE UNIVERSAL\'

PEN & PENCIL SET

This Conway Stewart \'The Universal\' 476 set, inmarbled green/black veinwithgold plated trim, datesfrom c.1936. It is in very good/excellentworking condition.

The pen has avery smoothbroad 14ct goldConway Stewart1 nib.This lovely nib has a degree of flex.
The cap is inexcellentcondition, with good internal threads, giving a good tight fit with the barrel. Thecap band are also in excellent condition. The clip is in good condition with just some light brassing.
The feed, section,and barrel are as above.The barrel carries crisp imprints.
This pen is a lever filler, for use with bottled ink. The lever is also inexcellent condition. A new ink sachas been fitted.
The closed length of the pen is 128mm.
The Duro-Point rotary pencil is in very good condition. The cone shows brassing. The chrome plated plain clip is correct for this model. The lead retract etc. rotary mechanism works smoothly. The barrel carries crisp imprints.
The pencil is 128mm in length.
The box is generally sound, but has one repairedcorner tear and shows wear. The instruction leaflet is in sound condition but shows some age toning.

This is avery fineexample of a collectable, attractive and very usable pen set.

THE NIB UNIT OF MY FOUNTAIN PENS ARE CLEANED IN AN ULTRASONIC BATH, TESTED FOR WRITING AND ADJUSTED IF NECESSARY.

ALL ITEMS ARE CLEANED, CONSERVATIVELY RESTORED WHEN NEEDED, AND HAND POLISHED
