CREE FLORAL BEADEDVELVET BAG

Up for your consideration is a lovely, floral,Cree beaded bag, thread-sewn on navy velvet (velveteen?) in colors of rose,corn yellow, white, pale pink, light blue, greens, and red (white heart?).

Beading is tightly stitched with no missing beads.

It is lined and backed with canvas and the edge and handleof are made of green, red, and blue braided wool yarn.

I believe it to date to about thebeginning of the 20thcentury.

There is some soiling to the back (see photos).

It is9\" long x 11.75\" wide.
