PLEASE NOTE these photos do not do this justice, as the wire work details are much better in person. We have here a wonderful and very rare antique, mini reliquary / shrine which encases an actual piece of the wooden cross JESUS CHRIST was crucified on.

This relic is displayed in an 800 Grade solid silver filigree hand made cross with glass front. For added beauty the silver, in some places, has a gold overlay . This is marked \'\'800\'\' on the back with something else, l cannot make out, but a guess would be it is a country mark of either ITALY or SPAIN, but again this is only a guess. This comes house in it\'s Original Custom Fitted Box. Being very old, the box does have some shelf wear on the outside but, the interior is in Very Good Condition. The interior is silk lined and hollowed out in certain places to \'\'hold\'\' the shrine in place. This relic is in EXCELLENT CONDITION as is the shrine which is a little tarnished. This is correctly sealed with its red wax seal and thread, see photo. This is about 4\" tall x 2.75\" across, the base is 8 sided. This is a BEAUTY to look at& it\'s fun to hold and display.

This is from a smoke& petfree home. We did a careful visual and touch exam of this and these are our findings. The details and art work areFRESH& VIVID & not sun damaged. All original there are No Dings, Chips, Nicks or Repairs and the pieces of the cross are behind glass.

This is a EASY 9 OUTof 1O as to condition.
