CRYSTAL ANDSTERLING SILVER BOX WITH DISH

Description

I presentto your consideration this very beautiful crystal and sterling silver box withdish.

The box ismade in crystal and has ten faces. Each of the faces has a gold color stripeall around. The base is smooth. The rim has a sterling silver application witha beautiful exterior decoration. This decoration consists in a pattern of stylizedflowers and geometric shapes under a very small dots «background».

Thesterling silver cover has also a very beautiful shape and decoration. It has inthe larger part two smooth levels, and another level with the same decoratedstripe that is on the rim. A guilloche decoration began in this stripe and gountil the center. In the center there are three smooth levels finishing with anupper piece decorate with stylized leaves in fruit shape.

The crystaldish has ten gold color painted partitions (the same that are in the ten teacaddy faces). The edge has a sterling silver stripe with the same decoration ofthe box rim and his cover.

Theensemble results in a very beautiful and exceptional item.

Thesterling parts are in very excellent conditions. The interior gold fillet is inperfect condition

Thecrystal in in excellent conditions (any missing). The gold color stripes havethe natural wear of such delicate item with more than 150 years old. Some partsof the stripes are a little vanished. Nothing that retires the dignity and thebeauty of this box ensemble (please see photos)
