We offer for sale an unusual pieceof crystal art glass molded into a disk with a radiating fluted pattern on the bottom. Etched signature on side reads\"Viking\" as in Viking Glass Company. Scandinavian influence produced by Americancompany.
Function, if any, is uncertain, asthe crystal is too large and heavy for apaperweight (unless, perhaps, if you\'re an actual Viking). A thick candle would sit nicely on the top,and the glass facets reflect light in pleasing patterns.
Note that the top face gentlyslopes to a center point – it is not flat.But it is smooth and could hold keys or other small objects.
Very attractive, whatever it is.
Size is 5 inches diameter by1-1/4\" high.
Condition is excellent withoutchips or cracks.
Age mid-century.
