Offered is a rare Danish Mid Century Modern necklace by the famous Denmark jeweler, Bent Larsen. Featured is a stunning pendant of a blue, green, and brown agate or glass stone in a sleek pewter holder. The necklace also has its original chain. The pendant including the pewter holder is 1.75 inches across by 3 inches tall. The chain length is 11 inches on each side. The backside is hallmarked Bent Larsen Design, Pewter, Denmark, 2269. The necklace is in excellent vintage condition. Bent Larsen started his pewter jewelry making career in the late 1960s. The jewelry was sold in Denmark and exported to Germany and Sweden as well. In 1975 he ceased working with pewter and began working with gold and silver. Jewelry by Bent Larsen is rare.
