This listing is for a large stately English circa 1905 sterling silver fully hallmarked large sugar or pepper shaker muffineer. It measure 9 inches or 22.5 cm high.

The shaker is in two parts with a cover that fits snuggly into the base. The top has holes for shaking the contents out. It heavily decorated in raised repose of swirling design. The top has a flame finial. It weighs 200 grams or 6.4 troy ounces troy ounces.

It has four hallmarks on the base. They are as follows: The first is "HW" the makers mark for Henry Wigfield who began his silver work in Sheffield England in 1877. The second hallmark is a crown which is the city mark for Sheffield. The third is the rampant lion, the English hall mark for Sterling quality silver. The forth is the date letter "n" for the year 1905. The top of the shaker has the same hallmarks as the base but without the date letter "n".

The shaker is beautiful, stately, large and elegant. The condition is all original. It is substantial strong and sturdy. It is in excellent condition. Please see many photos.
