NICE NICHE WITH HUSBAND AND WIFE CATRINAS MEXICAN ART

Here is a nice piece of Mexican folk art typical of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. The tradition to craft these beautifully detailed pieces is very old here in San Miguel Allende and this one in particular was hand-painted by the highly-skilled artist Blanca Gomez. This \"nicho\" or niche, has two skeleton bride and groom Catrinas dressed in wedding attire. He is the typical drunkard with a bottle of liquor in one hand and she, the bride, seems to be saying -why me?. On the sides and on top of the niche there are mirrors and the hinged glass door opens to the side so you can see the interior in detail. This is a nice collector\'s piece that will add a nice decorative touch.

Shipping to the USA from Mexico can take from 2 to 4 weeks. This is due to the US Customs inspection process which international packages must go through. Normally, shipping time is 10 to 20 working days and sometimes even less. Please keep in mind when leaving response, that I am shipping from Mexico and not from within the USA. I normally ship using Correos de Mexico registered mail service, for our mutual security, so a signature is required to receive your package. If there\'s no one home to sign, it will be held at the post office for a few days and then returned to me. If you are not at home regularly, or if there isn\'t anybody else to sign for your package, please let me know prior to sending your package in order to use regular mail. Expedited shipping to the USA via Mexpost EMS Shipping service is available for this and my other listed items. Although more expensive, shipping time is greatly reduced to about 3 to 5 working days.
