Authentic antique bottles are very popular unique home decorations now days,as featured in several recent national magazine articles!Offered is a vintage long neck Western Style Whiskey Cylinder dating from the late 1860s to around 1880.The bottle is blown in mold with applied top.The lot includes:1)—A beautiful lighter golden amber whiskey cylinder bottle,applied collar lip,turn mold manufacture style,having an embossed dot on the base.Closely resembles a Patent whiskey from the same period without the glasshouse embossment..Great window bottle!The exterior of the bottle has light to moderate rainbow irridescent patina on the exterior,the result of being in contact with different minerals in the ground while buried for more than 100 years!This is similar to the unique coloring found on the glass recovered from the Benecia mud flats on the California coast.
