THE ARTISTS OF THE WORLD PRESENT \"QUIET MOMENT\" an Indian mother and child sitting in a rocking chair. Quiet lovely. This is a heavy piece sitting at 8 inches tall and 6 inches wide.
The spirit of the Southwest is beautifully capturedin the figurine\"Quiet Moment\" Mother and child are dressed in traditional style, with turquoise, blue and red clothing. The heritage of a proud people is reflected in the wistful dark-eyed faces of Indian children and their parents.
I have carefully checked this figurine and did notfind any cracks orchips. I tried to take close up pictures for you.I do nothave the originalbox, but I will find a box to wrap the item individually, and then placeit in a larger box for shipping.

The artist and his work. The legendary artist Ted DeGrazia (1909-1982) was known the world over for his paintings of the Southwest. Indians, angels, cowboys on horseback all were among his creations...but far and away the best known and loved were his solemn, dark-eyed children. Among the most popular of his collector treasures are the exquisite ceramic figurines, handcrafted by Goebel of West Germany for Artist of the World.

- © next to the trademark indicates it iscopyrighted under U.S. law.
- ® next to the trademark means it is registered. A small incised number under the base, such as “24”, has no significance to the collector. It is used by the factory as an internal identifier.
