This wonderful Dept 56 figurine that is a music box is new and not taken out of the box until today when I took the pictures. It\'s called \"PLAY ME A TUNE\" and features two Snowbabies sitting on a huge drum, with one playing a drum and the other playing a horn. This piece is numbered #80889 and is in the original box and Styrofoam container. This was purchased from a warehouse sale for a boutique that went out of business quite some time ago.So although this was retired long ago, it is still new. The figurine of the two Snowbabies on a drum has a metal pedestal that will screw on to the base and this is how you wind the music box. As it plays the tune, it slowly turns. The music box works just fine! The price sticker indicated that this was selling for $37.50 at the time the store closed. The box is clean and strong but is definitely not perfect as it has shelf and age wear around the ages. Please look at the pictures and you will see how nice this music box is!!
