1992 Beauty and The Beast VHS Tape

- Up for your consideration is this original issue collector VHS

-A Walt Disney Classic film title

- A coveted \"Black Diamond\" label that was one of only 18 titles issued as \"The Classics\", that were released

at intervals between 1988-1993; with Aladdin the last to ever be released under thelogo

- Original plastic clamshell (does have writing on the front, show wear, breaks, and has crushed corners)but

tape has been protected. This is the original case.

- Tape has a name written on the side in silver.

- Release date is: Christmas Lead 10 22 92

- These videos have a unique place in Disney history. This was Disney\'s first attempt at the home video market

and instead of a theatrical re-release (as was custom) they were released to a new generation of home viewers.

Black Diamond Classics were unusual in that they were a uniform style, with some sporting a \"peel-away\" corner

on the front. Though the tapes now have only a collector\'s value, they should rightfully be regarded as a landmark

in Disney\'s film history.
