THIS IS AN ORIGINAL HAND-PAINTED SERICEL SET AGAINST A KEY MATCHING PRESENTATION PRINT BACKGROUND FROM DISNEY\'S NEW CLASSIC \"THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG\". IT WAS THE 49TH DISNEY \"NEW CLASSIC\" FEATURE LENGTH ANIMATED FAIRY TALE THAT, FOR THE FIRST TIME FEATURED THE STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL MINORITY AFRICAN AMERICAN TIANA WHO.FINALLY KISSES A FROG/PRINCE. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME DISNEY RETURNED TO TRADITIONAL ANIMATION SINCE 2004\'S \"HOME ON THE RANGE\". . THIS SERICEL WAS SPECIALLY PRODUCED AND WAS SENT TO ACADEMY AWARD VOTERS TO PROMOTE CONSIDERATION FOR \"THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG\'S\" THREE NOMINATIONS (BEST ANIMATED FEATURE AND 2 FOR BEST SONG. IT LOST TO \"UP\".). DISNEY DID NOT RELEASE MUCH, IF ANY, ANIMATION ART FROM \"THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG\". THIS WAS NEVER SOLD TO THE PUBLIC, WHICH MAKES IT DOUBLY RARE. IT ALSO HAS THE DISNEY SEAL AT THE LOWER LEFT. THE PIECE MEASURES AN OVERALL 11.5 X 10.75 AND IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE ORIGINAL MAILING ENVELOPE \"FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION\" IS INCLUDED AND IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. BEAUTIFUL AND RARE!. .
