Packaging and Damage
For export items, wherever possible we attempt to use new heavy duty boxes, but the variety of shapes of the objects we sell, may prevent that. In the unlikely event of damage in transit, would buyers please inform us as soon as possible, and produce as much photographic evidence as possible of the damage to the item purchased, and to the packaging. 100% refund will be given if damage in transit can be shown beyond reasonable doubt. Items are normally dispatched within 48hrs of the receipt of cleared payment.
We expect payment within 7 days of the end of the sale. We reserve the right to cancel any sale if payment is not made within that period.
Every attempt is made to describe the items accurately. A description ‘perfect’ or ‘mint’ means that the item is ‘as made’ and not necessarily free from all defects. We will attempt to describe or include in our photos all major manufacturing defects. With items about 100 years old, however, normal wear and tear is inevitable. Major scratches will be described. All white patches are reflections unless described as otherwise in the description of the items: we always mention any chips that could give rise to a white area in the photographs.
Thanks you for looking! Good Luck!
