This sale is for aDanbury Mint 1959 CHEVROLET IMPALA CONVERTIBLEin 1:24 scale. This modelis in excellent condition, and is just gorgeous! These are becoming increasingly harder to find, and it is especially rare to find one like this one, which is complete, and appears as though it may not have been displayed! I cannot be certain, but if it has been displayed, it is definitely difficult to tell from the IMMACULATE condition it is in! It is THAT nice! The clear vinyl protective strips are even still on the etched metal emblem, and chrome foil script on the hood! This one is lovely in every way! TheCrown Sapphirepaint isvery deep and glossy, and is in spectacular shape! It is nearly flawless! There is very little if any paint rash, and the car looks outstanding! It is truly a classic and a beautiful car! The pictures do not do this justice!As can be seen in the photos, the car will display wonderfully!The details on this car are just lovely. The chrome foil scripts andetched metalemblems are intact, lookexquisite, and are in like new condition! Again, the front badge and Chevrolet scriptare still covered by their clear protective vinyl strip! Thechrome shines, and is in excellent condition! Thematching sapphire interior looks very nice, andmatches beautifullywiththe exterior color,and looks brand new! The rest of the car looksnew as well.The windows areclean and clear. The car is intact in every way, and all parts are present and functional.It includes the option to display it with the top down, with the matchingblue convertible boot, or with thewhite soft top up, whichare both still sealed in the original plastic container, and appear to have never been removed! The wheels turn, and pivot with the steering wheel. This comes in its original boxand protective styrofoam, and with the Danbury Mint Certificate of Title, and the Unpacking and Care Instructions, as well as the solicitation letter for the PReview Society, AND the full color brochure of this car! In short, this is as complete a model as one will find, and would be almost like buying directly from The Danbury Mint! Once again, these are becoming harder to find, especially ones that are in what appears to be UNDISPLAYED condition, and complete, as this one is!
