This particular example is complete with all the original accessories right down to the original little french cocktail glasses that were provided back when new in the 1960s. It would be right at at home in a vintage James Bond flick and is guaranteed to be the talk of your next gathering. These were not made for long and as you likely know Kai Kristiansen was one of Denmark’s premiere designers. Okay enough of my blah blah blah. Lets get onto it :-)What looks like a simple (yet beautifully made) rectangular cabinet on wheels will turn every head in the room with a simple turn of a little key. Once this key is inserted and given a quick turn, THE TOP SURFACE OF THE CABINET SLOWLY RISES UP BY ITSELF to reveal a full fledged organized bar.The raised top surface now becomes the serving platform as it has a matte texture surface (safe for getting wet etc.). The interior of the bar has the same surface and is complete with all its original accessories as follows:- orange plastic rotating turn table for 6 bottles in two sizes (permanently built in)
- orange plastic slide out storage drawer
- orange plastic storage shelves (removable set of 3)
- solid rosewood glass serving caddy that stands both vertically and tray like flat with pivoting orange plastic glass holders allowing you to lay it down or stand it up without removing glasses (super cool).The exterior of the piece is comprised of both solid rosewood and rosewood veneer. The interior mechanism is a hydraulic system that is activated when the key is turned. There are no electronics, just hydraulics so you can use this anywhere. It stands on heavy smooth castors for easy mobility. It is a very heavy and very solid piece. Leg supports will be removed for safer shipping (each attaches with two large bolts to the underside).measurementsOverall 35 3/4” wide by 15 3/4” deep by 29 1/2” high closed and 43 1/4” high open.conditionExcellent, with just light age wear to the black top surface from normal age and use. Greyhound or Blanket Wrap FreightGreyhound: Package(s) are shipped to your local Greyhound station OR MOST Greyhound stations now offer HOME DELIVERY for a fee. If you would like this option, you must let us know as that needs to be arranged by US when we drop it off. Otherwise they call you when in to pick up. Insurance with Greyhound has a max of $300 but it is a VERY SAFE method of transport as the pieces are simply placed in the luggage area of the bus. This will be $150.00 including packing. Keep in mind the size as you need a vehicle large enough to pick up.Blanket wrap freight to your door: If you choose this option, we are putting a flat rate of $345.00, door to door to MOST anywhere in the continental mainland USA (see note below). Lately quotes have been coming in for pieces along this size at $450+, but we will cover anything over the $345.00. Note: We say \"most anywhere\" because if you reside in a remote area very far away from any major city, please inquire with us as the cost may be higher. Blanket Wrap freight can take anywhere from 2 to 5 weeks depending on your location and the freight co trucking schedules. Average time once it is picked up from us is about 14 business days. If you would rather use your own blanket wrap shipper via a service like USHIP (you may be able to get a less expensive blanket wrap rate), that is fine as long as they pick it up from us and do not require the item to be boxed.

Buyer pays shipping and insurance or can may pick up in the Los Angeles area. We ship exclusively by UPS and Greyhound within the USA (pieces too large for these carriers will ship via blanket wrap freight). PLEASE ALLOW A UP TO 5 BUSINESS DAYS for items to packed. Larger items that require special packaging may take a little longer. Unlike many sellers, we do not just loosely toss your items in a used old “soft” box and send it on its way destined to be damaged. We take GREAT CARE and expense in both money and time in packing your piece. We use 99% new materials (all produced from recycled sources) and pack the right way every time (it’s not at all uncommon for a small furniture piece to take us 2+ hours to pack). We try and keep “in stock” a full assortment of shipping supplies, but sometimes certain size boxes etc. need to be ordered. We kindly ask that you please allow us a little time for this.
