Fresh from a local estate I have a fantastic Caldwell DAR 14k Pin and Ribbon set with 3 bars representing 3 soldiers who fought in the revolutionary war. From what I can tell this family was from Connecticut, the bars read James Clark William Hosford Jr and Capt. Gideon Smedley. The bottom piece is marked Helen Crosby Russell 270162.
