=^..^= Adorable, 1940s vintage, celluloid, (cellulose acetate) pink figural Little Girl playing an instrument with attached ball rattle, baby rattle toy measuring, 7 1/2\" long by 2 1/2\" wide, with excellent raised and painted design and detail, manufactured by Irwin Plastics Corp.,New York, N.Y.USA and isstamped with their raised logo on the back (as shown). Irwin Cohn started his styrene toy plant, Irwin Corporation, at 27 West 20th St., New York, N.Y. in 1922 (see cardboard tag for reference only) also in Leominster, Ma.* and closed in 1973after producing one of the largest assortment of blown celluloid and plastic baby toys in the world. Other Irwin rattle toys shown are all being sold separately andnot included in this listing. This example is a desirable toy and in perfect condition with no damages or repairs, no dents or splits and no chew marks as she has never been played with.
