Mid Century 1960\'s David Andersen Co. Artist Karl Jergen Otteren Sterling with Gilt Wash Artist Modern Flower Brooch/ Pendant.
The colors and enamel are gorgeous. Bright orange red against the very pearly white enamel with raised center spikes with enamel tips that match the division on the flower.
Signed on the backside D.A. K. Otteren Sterling. Has functional roll back clasp and bale to wear as an pendant.
Measures 1 7/8 inches and weighs 11 grams.
The workman ship is top of the line, the condition is excellent. I have not polished it as the gold gilt wash is intact and the patina is beautiful.
Not a large brooch but the modernistic design is fabulous.
