Russian Girl on Sleigh G. DeBrekht Studios SIZE: 4.75 inches high & 3.25 inches in length Here is a G. DeBrekht figurine called \"Happy Winter Ride\" from the Russian Sleigh Ride Series. This Russian girl figurine is an early version and was a prototype for a figurine that was not put into production. She was introduced in 2002 and retired in 2002, when it was decided to phase out this series. This figure is not pictured in any of the DeBrekht Catalogs. This is a rare item and one not familiar to many DeBrekht Collectors. The figure does not have the name stamped on the bottom, but it does come with a Certificate of Authenticity and is hand signed by the owner of the company. This figure is cast in a resin material from an original carving. You can see around the back that it has a realistic carved look. All of the designs you see on this piece are all hand painted - no decals are used. DeBrekht is known for their elaborate painting and exceptional quality. \"Happy Winter Ride\" is in mint condition, from store inventory. This figure did not come in a DeBrekht box; it came to us wrapped in bubble wrap. We will package it safely in a white gift box. There is a photo of the bottom of the piece, showing it is hand signed by Andrej Gabricht, the owner and artist designer of the G. DeBrekht company. It is rare to find any of the DeBrekht items signed by Andrej, so we feel this piece has added value.
