Early in 2014 The USPS raised their fees. I weigh each item to try to give you the cheapest shipping costs possible.
Every Comic book has a book board, plus I add a cardboard back and wrap in bubble wrap to avoid bending in shipping.
Usually an order of 5 or more comic books will excede the 13 oz maximum first class shipping, and must be shipped at the next USPS prices.
When this happens I find the cheapest way to ship is a Flat Rate Padded envelope for $5.75, still saving you money.
I can ship an average of 10 to 15 comics this way for the same price. More that that must be shipped Parcel Post.
The USPS told me that Comic Books CAN NOT be shipped Media mail, because of advertising in the books.
(they periodically open media mail packages to check, and if wrong, they send back to shipper, I know for a fact)
And after and Paypal takes their fees for the TOTAL sale, including shipping, I actually loose money on shipping
PLEASE keep this in mind before giving a bad review on shipping and handling. I DO NOT MAKE A PROFIT ON SHIPPING!
This applies to all Items I sell, from baseball cards to Beanie Babies to anything else. I charge the least amount I possibly can for shipping
(also, we don\'t get shipping supplies (bubblewrap, padded envelopes, tape etc) for free)
