Please find a typical singing bird box automaton made by the famous German Griesbaum Factory. This particular piece was made around 1960 so it is produced at the end of the Griesbaum Imperium. It is part of an old stock and is therefore in mint and perfect working condition. The ornate brass box measures 11 x 7 x 5 cm ( 4,3 x 2,8 x 2 inch) The box is on all sides covered with a kind of baroque decorations. By pushing the stop start knob the lid will jump open and a little bird will appear.It will turn from left to right moving its beak and wings and whispering a song.After it is finished it will return into the box and the lid will automatically close again. This is not an antique piece nor a cheap reproduction. It is a high quality piece made around 1960 that would be a great addition to your collection or it would make a great gift.
