Box is made of pine. It was hand painted. It is dated 1982 under the clasp which was probably added letter since it covers part of the date. The wood sides have warped a little which has opened up one of the seams on the back. The box is still solid and the lid works the way it is suppose to. It measures about 11 1/4\" long by 3 1/4\" wide by 1 1/4\" thick. Item #2210
