note: this sword is not meant to be used and should only be used for decorationThis ornate Roman gladius measures 31 1/4\" long in the scabbard and 30 1/4\" out of the scabbard. The blade is 22 1/8\" long and 2\" wide at the guard. The blade also features a decorative etching on both sides. The guard is metal and shows an eagle on one side and a wolf on the other. The pommel is also metal and is round with a raised piece in the center. The grip is made from plastic which is painted to imitate a dark wood and from metal rings. The scabbard features this painted plastic as well, and has metal casings at the ends, as well as a third one on the upper middle section that connects to the top with a silver and black chain. The sword is in great condition and shows virtually no signs of wear, it is however, a little difficult to pull the sword out of the scabbard, but it fits well.If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact
