Wonderful small Peruvian tray in sterling silver made by “Del Pilar”.The central motif is the Peruvian coat ofarms depicting a cornucopia, a llama, and tree cupped in a wreath of laurel andpalm fronds. It has a wide border in alatticework pattern with floral clusters and open medallions at intervals.The tray is marked with “PLATA 925 DELPILAR” and “INDUSTRIA PERUANA.” Del Pilar was founded as a gold and silver working business in Peru in 1956 bythree brothers Raúl, Enrique y Armando Sánchez Maguiña. It incorporated as Del Pilar Plateria in1963.

Thetray is not monogrammed. It is in good estatecondition, although with the patina of old tarnish and fine scratches to beexpected with age and use. This interestingtray will make a lovely addition to any silver collection.

Thetray weighs approximately 3.68 troy ounces.It is roughly 7” in diameter.
