The Dutch Jewish community was extremely large and active with more than half of the community being Sephardic in the 1700\'s. The Delft village was commissioned to make beautiful biblical story tiles representing the most famous of all the biblical narrative stories such as the \"The Golden Calf\". The 2nd tile is the story of \"Cain and Abel\". Here are 2 wonderful examples, each hand-painted. These are truly rare tiles that do not come to market often. The tiles measure 5\" x 5\" squares. They are dated on the back circa late 1700\'s. They were purchased by our family in Amsterdam in 1990. Guaranteed authentic and reasonably priced.

· Usually, items are shipped within 1-2 business days of receivingcleared payment. That is not always possible, but we do guarantee thatall items ship within 10 business days.

Shipping Insurance:

Payment:

· Payment is expectedwithin 48 hoursof thesale.

· At this time, we only accept payment via PayPal.

· If you cannot use PayPal for any reason, please contact us andwe will do our best to find an acceptablealternative.

· Unless otherwise stated, returns are accepted within 14 days of receiptof theitem.
