DeluxeFlint and Steel Firestarting KitMountain Man-Camping-SurvivalThis sale is foranicedeluxe versionfire staring kit.Kit comes in a16 ounce slid lid tin, with ahigh quality hand forged steel fire starting striker, a nice size piece of hard flint, a 2\" magnifying/burning glass with pouch, 10\" firecord,and instructions on what you need to do tostart a fire the old fashioned way. This striker is hardened the old fashioned way and ready to use. This is a classic reproduction of a \"C\" design double monkey tail striker, and has been tested by my blacksmith friend who made it for me. All you will need to start making a fire is some sort of tinder(dry tow or lint from your dryer),to start your own fire the way it was done several hundred years ago. The strikeris either a 3 or 4 finger size depending on the size of your fingers.Striker measures at approximately 3\"to 3-1/2\" long overall in lengthand tin measures 4\" in diameter x 2-1/2\" tall.
