Now offering a wonderful starter set of selected Dept. 56 Dickens Village pieces. First of all is the \"Flat of Ebenezer Scrooge\", from the Charles Dickens novel, \"A Christmas Carol\", where Scrooge lived out his miserly life. This item was introduced in 1989 at a retail price of $37.50 and not retired until 2001. It comes without the original styrofoam box and sleeve, but does include the lighted cord. The piece itself is in good condition, without scratches, cracks or other imperfections as you can see by the photos.

Included with Scrooge\'s flat are a variety of village items. There are two of the Dept. 56 accessory\"Village Log Pile\", which were introduced in 1997 at a retail price of $7.50 and have not been retired. Also, the \"Village Wrought Iron Park Bench\" was introduced in 1993, is not yet retired and retails for $5.00. The ceramic tree, while not a Dept. 56 item, coordinates well in size and scale with the Dickens Village pieces. There is also an additional Dept. 56 man with boy on his shoulders, which was originally part of the Dickens Village accessory, \"The Old Puppeteer\" (set of 3) that came out in 1992, was retired in 1995, and the set retailed for $32.50.

Finally, the Dickens Village accessory, \"Christmas Carol Characters\" (set of 3) was introduced in 1986, retired in 1990 and retailed for $12.50. The Dickens Village accessory, \"Town Crier and Chimney Sweep\" (set of 2) was introduced in 1990, retired in 2001 and retailed for $16.00.Each figure is in very good condition and has no scratches, cracks orother imperfections as you can clearly see from the photos. They come in the original styrofoam box and outer sleeve, showing only slight minimalwear from storage.

This is a wonderful way to start a Dickens Village display or to add to your existing Dickens Village.
