Who kicked over the lantern? There has been a fire in the old barn, and at times, you can see the flickering of flames and hear the farm animals\' voices echoing in the night.
The Dept. 56 Snow Village Halloween Haunted Barn featuring flickering flames was issued in 2001 and retired in 2002; limited to year production.
There are 4 pieces in the set: The Barn, which lights up with flickering red light and has a volume control knob in the back, a scarecrow, a bare branch tree and a length of fence. Tree and fence ARE in the box, just not in photo. The building has an on/off switch attached to the power cord.
Condition: Very good. Pumpkin lights do NOT light (might be a fuse or bulb; I do not know.). There were two chips and some paint wear around the edge of the base. The paint wear around base was tinted and is not noticeable. One paint chip was disguised as a leaf, and is not noticeable. One shingle\'s paint was tinted and may be noticeable. Sleeve has extensive wear.
