For your consideration today is an authentic Department 56 \'Ghostly Carousel\' #56.55317 (circa 2002). Handcrafted in ceramic with spooky embellishments--when plugged in, the carousel lights illuminate, and an on/off switch activates the motion and sound (carousel revolves, and there is a soundtrack with organ music and Halloween sounds). Stands approximately 10\" tall to the top of the spider, is 10.5\" in diameter, and weighs 6.75 lbs. Includes the original box. This is a previously owned item. It is structurally sound and in working order, with some surface scuffs from use and storage (stray scuffs on roof in photo #8, scuffs on bottom in photo #9). I have looked the item over carefully and see no structural damage or missing pieces. The cardboard sleeve that fits over the styrofoam box shows creasing, dog-eared edges, and tears. Styrofoam box has scuffs and dings. Please view all 12 photos, using zoom feature, as these are part of the description. No unusual smells or odors and item ships from my non-smoking home.
