Hi, I make custom display platforms to fit the scale of Dept 56 and Lemax villages. If you are like me your collection keeps getting bigger every year. I ran out of room and needed to find a better way to display my cute village. So I started to make platform bases about 9 years ago. I just love to see everything come to life with everything all lit up. I am semi retired and have a background in design drafting and acrylic art. Each design is my own and is protected.

The Town Center was designed for Dept 56Christmas in the City. I wanted thisdisplay platformto have a real city feel. I will describe it as best as I can.

This is a large platform. It is made in 3 sections that fit together. It has formal block walls with wall caps. The stairs are all done in a round shape. I brushed them with resin to give them a slippery look.

The lower level has sidewalks and roads. The sidewalksfollow the road all the way around to theother end. I put snow piles along the edges for asnowy look. The roads have curbs. I brushedthe roads with resin to give them a black ice look. There is alot of room to show off your pedestrians, cars, street signs etc.

The ice skating rink is the central focus of the display. It is done with light blue and white, I use resin for the wet look. I have outlined it with a low wall that is painted gray.

The upper area has alot of room for you commercial buildings. I placed a 3rd level in each corner that measures 12\" X 7\".This will hold a large building. I carved in stairs leading up to each one.

Platform sits on wide cut legs. This hidden section gives you a nice place to hide adapters.

I have drilled holes on the main level for your cords to drop down into. You can easily drape the cords over the back on the upper levels.

The right andleft areas measure approximately 23\" X 10\" and 23\" X 17\"

The ice skating rink is a 10\" oval.

Streets are 3\" wide.

Sidewalks are 2 1/2\" wide.

Platform footprint (all 3 sections) 23\" wide X 69\" long X 8\" high.

The buildings and accessories are not included in this sale.
