Deacon’s Way Chapel is from Dept 56 New England VillageSeries. Introducedin 1998 and retired in 2000, this originally retailed for $68.00. This is innew, mint condition and comes complete with the light adapter and in the originalpackaging. To quote the outerpackaging “ Named for the member of clergy ranking just below a priest, thislovely chapel is certain to recall happy memories of going across the fieldswith Grandmother to church on Sunday morning dressed in starched Sunday best.It has a country charm that makes one think of ringing bells, community celebrations,and pancake breakfasts.” This has lots of gold accents, a real bell in thetower and two beautiful Stained Glass windows; a large circular one over thedouble front doors and a small accent window on the side of the chapel. This would also look lovely in a ChristmasIn the City or Dickens Village display.

While I may state on an item that I sellthat it is “used”, please note that each item ispurchased from the collector who bought the item originally anddisplayed it in their own smoke free/pet free home. The items are in mintcollectible condition unless otherwise stated in my description. Shouldthe item be brand new and never used/opened I will state that also. Newitems will be opened to photograph and inspect.

I always put a picture of theitem lit up as well as photos of each side of the item so you can see thatthere are no flaws. Should there be a problem with the item I will state it inthe description. If accessory pieces do not havethe option to light up, they will be photographed as is.
