The Powell Collection

Since 1984Department 56 lighted houses and accessories have been sitting in boxes in whathave been five different houses in three states. All locations have been smoke freeEnvironments. Except for some of theNorth Pole collection, I have not displayed any of the pieces.

Three serieshave been collected; New England Village, North Pole, and Dickens Village. In addition, the collection includes someGeneral Village Accessories, some Heritage Village Accessories, and a fewmiscellaneous items.

The plan was toput up a large display in one (or more) of the rooms. Due to a variety of reasons, this neverhappened. Best laid plans…etc.

Rather than havethem continue to sit in the house, I am putting up for sale over 135 lightedhouses and over 80 accessories over the next three weeks. All pieces have been inspected (except thosewhich are “New” or “New New” (see condition descriptions)). All are in mint condition. All lights that were checked work.

Box conditionvaries; some of the older pieces show some wear and tear.

The“Condition Key” is as follows:

·New– New: Still in Shrink Wrap

·New:Never removed from Styrofoam / lightedpiece

·New:Removed from Styrofoam for picture / non-lighted piece

·NIB: Never displayed – removed to check out (andsay “oh, that’s nice”) and then put away until picture

·Mint:Purchased through internet – may have been displayed (non-lighted piece)

·Used– Mint: Purchased through internet – may have been displayed previously(lighted piece) – checked thoroughly

·Displayed- Mint: Displayed during holidays

Iwill do my best to combine purchases; however, some of the newer pieces,especially in the New England Village, are quite large and combining may notcost effective. I will do everything tosend the item within 3 business days of payment.
