North Pole Porcelain Works was created to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Dept 56. I am not even certain I can adequately capture the charm of this building but I have tried! Introduced in December 2005 it was retired in Dec. 2006 and was limited to the 2006 Production Year. This originally retailed for $85.00 and I can see why. Since it is a Display Anywhere piece you can either use 4 AA batteries in the battery compartment on the bottom or you can remove the compartment and use the adaptor provided to change it over to a standard light. I will include a light adaptor at no additional charge to the buyer. Please look at the wonderful interior scene of an elf getting ready to put a porcelain house into the flickering kiln. Behind the elf are shelves with houses on them. If you look closely you can see that the entire roof line has little houses along it. Lots of attention to detail on this piece which celebrates 30 years of Dept 56 villages.

While I may state on an item that I sell that it is“used”, please note that each item ispurchased from the collector who bought the item originally anddisplayed it in their own smoke free/pet free home. The items are in mintcollectible condition unless otherwise stated in my description. Should theitem be brand new and never used/opened I will state that also.
