You are offerding on a brand new Department 56 Patriotic POLIWOGGS DEMOCRATIC DONKEY #56.44264A. It is approximately 8\" tall with jointed arms and comes in it\'s own gift box. THIS WAS RETIRED IN 2003 & IS VERY SOUGHT AFTER. THIS IS OUR LAST ONE! Department 56 took over the manufacturing of Poliwoggs in late 2002 and have done a terrific job with this amazing collection! These fantastic paper-mâché looking figurines by Vic Fortunato & David Critchfield are gaining popularity nationally in folk art circles. Poliwoggs are great resin recreations of vintage paper-mâché toys from the early part of the last century. Made of resin, each piece is individually formed and hand-painted to create a primitive, vintage style, paper-mâché look. These are a very high quality collectible and will surely be a highlight of any collection.
