Up For Sale: Up for sale is this black glass compote by Dermay, New York and Paris. Dermay sold bath salts, powder and similar productsin beautiful glass containers during the 1920\'s & 30\'s. This Art Nouveau style compote was one of these items. It features a female nude with flowing gown and measures 7 1/4\" high and 5\" in diameter at the top. It has hand painted flowers on the base. The compote is in very good condition with a sharp spot on the bottom of the seam where there mold was originally made and minor wear to the painted flowers (see pictures).
