A Stunning Estate Navajo DERRICK GORDON Green Turquoise Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet! Noted Navajo artist and silversmith,DerrickGordon, was born in Gallup, New Mexico in 1971. Hebegan his career as a prolific young silversmith at the age of 19, learning theart of silversmithing by watching and studying the work of his uncle, DelbertGordon, who mentored him. Derrick began creating his own designs in 1990. Like other well known artists, such as his uncle and Sunshine Reeves to name a few, Derrick is dedicated to the preservation of Traditional Design elements of the Old 20th Century Navajo jewelry, while adding his own style. These artists specialize in Old Style jewelry, aka \"Navajo Revival\" jewelry. Derrick is considered a revivalist among his artist peers, and is well knownfor his masterful, precise stampwork, as well as his Appliqué designs that pay homage to classictechniques of the early Native American Navajo jewelry makers. It is said Derrickloves to create his bracelets by developing a pattern in his head while gazingat the stone he is using for that particular piece. He then works with hishandmade tools, hand stamping the intricatepatterns, and thoughtfully applying the intricate Appliqué designs, while usingHigh Quality pieces of Turquoise to make each piece of jewelry One-of-a-Kind. Thesubstantial sterling silver stock is oxidized for the rich antiqued finish. Derrick\'s work has often been described as \"flawless\"!

This Gorgeous Bracelet is masterfully handcrafted using Fine Quality sterling silver (.925) and three (3) Gem Grade Green Turquoise stones! The large Center Turquoise stone is a Rich Deep Green color with Beautiful Tobacco brown matrix inclusions. The outer two (2) Turquoise stones are a pleasing Olive Green color. The Center stone measures 3/4\" long by 5/8\" wide, and the two (2) smaller oval-shaped stones measure roughly 7/16\" long by 5/16\" wide. All three (3) Turquoise stones are raised and domed with a beautifully polished surface that perfectly highlights the Beauty of each Turquoise stone. The Turquoise stones are securely set in plain silver bezels, and framed with twisted silver rope. All of the stone settings are supported by a Triple Split-Band Cuff, with the center band made from thick heavy twisted silver, that gently tapers and joins 1-1/2\" from each terminal. The Face of the Bracelet features Elaborate Appliquéembellishments, consisting of spiraled silver wire, twisted silver rope, silver raindrop beads, as well as hand chiseled and hand stamped fan-shaped pieces - Stunning!

Cuff Bracelet measures 7/8\" wide at Center gently tapering to 5/16\" wide at each beautifully finished Terminal. Inside circumference measures 5-1/4\" inside end-to-end with an additional 1\" gap, which may be slightly adjusted. Cuff is made to fit a smaller wrist, and would comfortably fit a wrist up to 6-1/4\". The Bracelet is hallmarked \"DERRICK\" with his his stylized triangulated D, and is stamped \"STERLING\" on the inside. Bracelet weighs a solid 37.6 grams. This Bracelet is in mint Estate condition!
