Vintage antique automobile or carriage DIETZ Octo Driving Lamp kerosene lamp in used condition. The front glass is cracked and has a frosted look to it, and the front still swings open to access where the wick would have been. The rear red glass is intact, with no cracks or chips. It stands 10\" tall, not including the handle, and about 5 1/2\" by 5 1/2\". The wording on the back around the lens reads DIETZ OCTO DRIVING LAMP New York U.S.A. Patented Sept 25-06 Jan 22-07 May 19-08. All original, with paint chips and some minor rust, to be expected with the age of the lantern.
