Here is a large Murano hand blown yellow and whitemezza filigranaart glassvase with gold aventurine threads; one next to eachfiligrano of yellow.
It isdocumented to designer Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso, model number 5558 and published in his book. He was their head designer from 1938-1965. 1st Dibs has one almost exactly like this one, color and model, that confirms the model number and the artist designation.
It has a beautiful and classic modern shape, and a beautiful and nearly perfect spiral threas terminus on the bottom with A-T\'s usual slightly rough quarter-sized pontil mark inits center. Unsigned.
There are a couple of black specks that often occur in this high fire cristallo glass that do not distract and are wholly in the making.
There is one burst bb sizedbubble from the originalcooling which can be felt but not seen. See the photo #4.
This vase is in excellent undamaged vintage condition.
11.5H x 4.5\"W at the base. Highly collectible. Perfect!
